This report is only based on the logs sent to Club Log, but should be fairly representative of activity. Note that RTTY usage increased, due to the contest. If you click the link near the top that directs you to the dxreport, you will get an updated version. Scroll down to see the "Most active modes" report. I forwarded a copy of the most recent report. In the most recent reporting period, FT8 was the most active mode, followed by CW, SSB and FT4, in that order. I get a weekly email from Club Log which shows, among other things, the activity on the various modes for the week. There was one Saturday - the North American QSO Party (NAQP), and I made some contacts in it. RTTY doesn't seem to be very active except for contests. A very few contacts on PSK, also some AMTOR many years ago. As for other modes, I have only ever been active on RTTY. Glad you got the logging working for you. What modes are everyone using now? Does anyone use PSK31 anymore? (It comes up as BPSK31 on FLDIGI) Probably lots of you use both WSJT-X and FLDIGI. A quick question regarding FLDIGI which I also use, because Log4OM also interfaces directly to that, there does not seem to be a lot of activity I can decode. I also have been using the FT8 and JT65 modes and they are great!!! Made many contacts right away, many from Spain, and the AZores (my dipole is beaming that way). I installed Log4OM (thanks everyone for your advice) and it works great!!! It interfaces perfectly with the WSJT-X package. What modes areĮveryone using now? Does anyone use PSK31 anymore? Laurie, VK3AMA, provides outstanding support. It is a companion program to WSJT-X (also JTDX), and has many They can be logged to directly from WSJT-X or withĪnother excellent program, if you are using Windows, is JTAlert There are others, as well, but these are the ones I amįamiliar with. Learning curve with these, but that is true of any good log Ones I know of are Log4OM and DXLab (part of DXKeeper). There are some very good -free- logging programs that might workįor you, since you also want to enter other modes. Incidentally, this all assumes you are using Windows and WSJT-X. Notepad++ is much faster opening thisįile than the standard Notepad. This file has everything WSJT-X has received and sent,Īnd it can grow quite large. Thisįile can be imported into a logging program. That directory you will find some files that you can view using If you are using WSJT-X, click on File/Open Log Directory.
